About 600 market sellers tested in coronavirus in Maykop

In Republic of Adygea, the work of agricultural markets and fairs is gradually resuming. At the same time, only those who have done a lot of preparatory work begin to work. Among them is the central market of Maykop. All trading floors were sanitized there, about 600 sellers were tested for coronavirus.

The Head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov visited the central market of the republican capital. He got acquainted with the control procedure when entering the market (the guard checks the visitors if they have masks and gloves and recommends treating the hands with an antiseptic).

The Head of the republic talked with sellers and was interested in self-isolation issues during market closures, the course of trade, and the demand for offered products.

“We understand that the work of markets is important both for agricultural producers who need to sell their products, and for citizens who are able to purchase high-quality locally produced goods at affordable prices. But human safety issues remain a priority, therefore, non-compliance with the requirements will entail a tough reaction,”- the Head of Adygea said.

Murat Kumpilov instructed the Mayor of the city and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Adygea, together with Rospotrebnadzor, to constantly monitor the situation at the fairgrounds and to demand strict compliance with sanitary and epidemiological standards.
