Experts: By 2025 new technologies will displace 85 million jobs

Due to automation as a result of technological progress, 85 million jobs in 15 sectors of the economy may be cut by 2025. This follows from the report of the World Economic Forum (WEF), published on October 20. However, experts believe that the "robot revolution" will lead to the creation of 97 million new jobs. In general, in the future, unlike in previous years, the emergence of new jobs will occur more slowly than the disappearance of existing ones, the document says.

According to the WEF experts, by 2025, work between humans and machines will be divided equally. At the same time, automation will affect such activities as data entry and processing, accounting, and a number of administrative tasks.
