G20 supports introduction of tax on income of transnational corporations

Participants of the meeting of finance ministers and heads of central banks of the G20 countries, which took place in Venice, Italy, supported the international tax reform, which would introduce a minimum tax on the income of transnational corporations.

“After years of discussion and building on the progress made over the past year, we have reached a historic agreement on a more stable and equitable international tax architecture,” reads the communiqué following the three-day event.
