In Adygea, next year, the construction of a road bypassing Maykop will be completed

In the Republic of Adygea, the construction of a road bypassing the city of Maykop continues: the new route will relieve the city, in particular Khakurate Street, from transit transport. The head of the republic, Murat Kumpilov, spoke about the implementation of the project on Monday, August 23, in his official Instagram account.

The road is being built in three stages. The first stage, which was completed in 2009, provided for the construction of a 9 km highway past the Khakunay (Gaverdovsk) village to the highway on Tuapse city on the black sea. In 2019, with the support of the Government of Russia, the second stage started, within which a 10.5 km road with three bridges will appear from the entrance to Maykop from the side of Belorechensk to the highway to Giaginskaya: these works are going to be completed this year. The third stage includes the construction of a 7.5 km section of the highway with access to the Proletarsky and Mafekhabl villages: it will be completed in 2022.

“The project will benefit both the residents of Maykop and our guests - after all, the shortest route from other regions of the North Caucasus to the Black Sea coast passes through the city. In addition, the construction of the road will expand the transport capabilities of the region, increase the investment attractiveness of Maykop, and improve the ecology of the republican capital, ” Murat Kumpilov said.

Earlier it was reported that 600 million rubles would be allocated from the federal budget for the construction of the Maykop bypass in 2021, and 1.6 billion rubles in 2022.
