In August, in spite of the toughened settlement rules, in the main resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, the high occupancy of hotels remains.

The occupancy rate of accommodation facilities in Sochi is now 77%, in Anapa - 80%, in Gelendzhik - 86%.

As of August 3, 128 thousand tourists are in Anapa at a time. The resort has 1493 hotels. Their average utilization is 80%.

Monitoring of hotel occupancy and room stock reservations showed that there are no mass cancellations of tours in Anapa. Cancellations for August were up to 16%. Cancellation forecast for September is 4%.

Since the beginning of the year, Anapa has been visited by 1 million 970 thousand people, as well as 438 thousand one-day tourists. In the last summer month, the resort plans to receive up to 700 thousand tourists.

About 80 planes land in Anapa every day, with about 11 thousand passengers. More than 20 trains with 10 thousand people arrive at the railway station. Also, every day at least 5 thousand guests come to the city by their own and public transport.

In Sochi, at the moment, the occupancy of hotels and motels is 75-77%. There are 2,875 objects of the sanatorium and resort industry, designed for 198,518 places.

From January to July, 4 million 130 thousand tourists rested in Sochi, which is 20% more than the same period last year.

- The demand for rest in Sochi is still high, people are sympathetic to the new requirements designed to preserve the life and health of citizens. In August, we plan to receive up to 900 thousand guests, - the head of Sochi, Alexei Kopaigorodsky said.

In Gelendzhik there are 91 enterprises of the sanatorium-resort complex and 2 785 hotels, hotels, guest houses and private accommodation facilities. Their occupancy rate is 86%. More than 90 thousand tourists visit the resort at a time, according to the press service of the regional administration.

As a reminder, on August 1, new rules for settling in hotels, motels and sanatoriums came into force in the region. They were introduced due to an increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus infection.

So, now the guest must provide one of three documents:

- a certificate of either full vaccination against coronavirus infection, or the first vaccination given;
- a certificate of a past illness within the last six months,
- medical withdrawal from vaccination and negative PCR test.

If the guest does not have one of these documents, he can issue his personal consent to vaccination within three days from the moment of check-in. In case of refusal, the guest faces a fine of 30 thousand rubles.

Adolescents between 15 and 18 years of age must provide a negative PCR test. Children under 14 years old - no documents required.
